About the Role:
ViaR Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting interim opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join Walsall Council’s Adult Social Care team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee preparations for Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessments, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and driving quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate CQC readiness preparations, ensuring all assessment requirements are met.
- Manage and oversee quality assurance activities, including case file audits and the development of improvement plans.
- Drive workforce development initiatives for internal and external staff across Adult Social Care.
- Lead and support the Quality Assurance team to ensure successful delivery of objectives.
About You:
We’re looking for a results-oriented professional with a strong background in quality assurance and leadership within Adult Social Care.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and assessment requirements.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and improvement within Adult Social Care settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and deliver strategic, quality-focused initiatives.
- Availability to start immediately.
